Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support

  • Samaritans Alzheimer’s Auxiliary provides free respite care at an assisted living facility for 7 days or, a home health agency for up to 50 hours.
  • Samaritans Alzheimer’s Auxiliary support groups
  • Sessions are offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00-10:00. The free sessions are being held at the Samaritan Services office located at 1207 N. Pebble Beach Blvd.  Info and to register:  Jim Butner at 813-634-9283.
  • Samaritans Alzheimer’s Auxiliary caregiver support line
  • The Coordinator of Samaritans Alzheimer’s Auxiliary, Jim Butner, has set up a support line that an individual can call & discuss their concerns.  Please call the Samaritan Services office at 813-634-9283 between the hours of 9:00-3:00 Monday through Friday.  If Jim is out of the office, please leave your phone number and first name only with the receptionist on duty.  Jim will return your phone call the same day.  Remember, you don’t have to travel this difficult journey alone.
